Arriving at our clinic is similar to arriving at your doctor’s office! Here is what you can expect.
- You will register at the front desk when you arrive at our office. We’ll take care of the insurance paperwork so you can get better as soon as possible.
- After that, you’ll meet with one of our clinicians for your initial evaluation. During your assessment, we will inquire about your medical history, current pain, illness, or injury. Please be upfront and honest with us so that we can better understand your problem and find the best solution for you!
- Our therapist or clinician will fully evaluate your movement, strength, and coordination during your appointment.
- Our therapist or clinician will develop a treatment plan for you based on the results of your evaluation. The goal will be to recover as rapidly as feasible while still producing significant outcomes. You may receive some treatments on the first day to help you get started on the road to recovery; however, your next visit will include a full therapy session.
- Our Bedford, Dartmouth, Fall River & Halifax, Nova Scotia therapists will record their findings and treatment plan, and they can give those to your referring physician or another medical expert of your choosing.
- Before leaving your first appointment at Choice Health Centre, you will schedule the remainder of your sessions with the front desk. The number of treatment sessions required is determined by our therapist and will be discussed with you at your first appointment.
You may contact us at any time if you have any questions. We want to make sure you are comfortable as you get back to normal as soon as possible.
