Chinese Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a 3000 year old practice of inserting sterile, hair-fine needles at specific points in the body to strengthen, stimulate and relieve symptoms of disease
Auricular Acupuncture
Auricular acupuncture is the stimulation of acupuncture points on the external ear surface for the diagnosis and treatment of health conditions in other areas of the body. The ear holds a microsystem of the body, consistent with the brain map discoveries of Canadian neuroscientist Wilder Penfield.
Moxibustion
Moxibustion is a form of heat therapy in which dried plant material called mugwort is directly or indirectly burned on the surface of the skin. The heat created from this herb penetrates deep into tissue and helps to regenerate energy and blood, relax muscles, soothe joint pain, alleviates cold and encourage proper blood circulation
Cupping
A partial vacuum is created in cups placed on the skin either by means of heat or suction, the suction pulls the skin up into the cup and away from the bone. Cupping works to alleviate pain by increasing the flow of blood and lymph to the area in need. It breaks up tight fascial tissues and helps relax muscles
Tui Na
Tui na is a form of Asian bodywork that goes back thousands of years. This form of massage is governed by Oriental medicine and follows many of the same guidelines as acupuncture
