Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture
What is Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture?
Facial Acupuncture uses ultra fine needles that are inserted into specific acupuncture points on the face and body to stimulate meridians and energy in the skin.Further needles are then utilized to fill lines improving the appearance of the skin. These needles stimulate facial muscles increasing collagen synthesis, fibrin and elastin to the area.
An acupressure facial massage can be added to help unblock the channels, reduce tension from the face, head, neck and shoulders and increase circulation.
Patients are asked to attend with no make-up or skin products to allow full visibility of the skin and underlying structures.
After Treatment some minor discomfort is normal and can signal a good inflammatory response to needling. Sometimes small localized discolouration/bruising can take place as the area responds to the needling technique. It is rare but it could occur so be aware.
